The kids loved their cheese quesadillas, and I enjoyed the chicken enchiladas. However, I felt the authenticity was lacking; it tasted more like Tex-Mex than traditional Mexican fare. " I celebrated my birthday at Del Rio Grill & Cantina, and it was a phenomenal choice! The atmosphere buzzed with excitement, and the decor was bright and cheerful. My friends and I ordered a variety of dishes and shared them. The spinach enchiladas were my personal favorite; they were packed with flavor and came with a generous amount of salsa verde. Every bite was savory, and I couldn't get enough of the chips and guacamole! Even though my main dish took a while to arrive, our server kept us entertained and well-hydrated. " Disappointed might be an understatement. I went on a Friday evening expecting a lively, delicious dining experience, but unfortunately, the food was lackluster. My beans tasted bland, and the rice was dry. The service was quite slow too; our waitress seemed overwhelmed and forgot our drink orders twice. But more importantly, the flavors were absolutely fabulous. I had a minor issue with the salsa; it was too mild for my liking, but that's just a personal preference. " Visited during lunch the other day and enjoyed some fish tacos and spicy shrimp burrito. Both were flavorful, though the shrimp burrito could have had a few more shrimp in it.
